With the first half of 2010 behind me, I realize that I have just 6 months left to accomplish so many goals. I’m experiencing mental and emotional exhaustion, but need to get back on track. I’m going to utilize my life coach, Lisa Nicole Bell to help push me forward. I work best when I have someone holding me accountable.

wow…that “ice cream sunday” story was very moving and out-of-this-world. and i feel the brotha…i looooove ice cream. the last sunday i had was for breakfast when i was pregnant with shabazz and about to deliver in a couple of weeks, hahaha!
lmao don’t laugh at Jordan! That boy was so excited when that happen – watching him trying to re-tell the story to my class was the cutest thing ever! He’ll be making his cameo appearance here in a few days.
That’s so cool! Lisa is a great person to know.
I like the idea of “lifestyle design,” as I too am an advocate of making lists and setting goals/targets. It definitely keeps you on track. And even better to have someone (a life coach or whomever) to check in with and help keep you accountable!
Love the idea of involving Jordan in the Vision Board. Never too early to learn goal setting, positive actions, and achieving your dreams. Wow, his ice cream experience really illustrated exactly what you all had been working on.

I’m in the process of working on goal setting and positive mindset type stuff with my 5 year old niece. She often has a very defeatist attitude about herself and gets very down on herself when she messes up anything, even spelling a word incorrectly will make her frown up and say, “i can’t do it.”
I got her a book called Incredible You by Wayne Dyer and we read it almost every day.
He’s going to remember this and thank you for raising him this way in his high school graduation speech.
